Google Stops Censoring Chinese Search Results

On Monday Google announced that it will no longer censor its search results in China. The announcement came after months of speculation that Google would close its China operations all together. As of Monday, Chinese visitors will will routed to a uncensored version of Google China via data centers in Hong Kong. Early reports on Monday suggested that the Chinese government already started censoring Google search results in mainland China.

Chrome’s missing features

So, after playing around with the new Chrome Browser from Google I’ve got a few features that I’ll need before I can start using this browser full time:

1. Google Bookmarks

I’ve consolidated all my bookmarks here so I can have them everywhere I go (lots of places, lots of different machines). It seems like this should have been baked in from the start but maybe the engineers at Google don’t use this service or just forgot.

2. Page Rank Bar

I know it doesn’t really matter that much but I’m just so use to seeing it…..

3. Plug Ins

I’m sure this is on the way but they could have done some research and made the most popular add ons available on launch. If they had at least included html sigs for Gmail I’d use Chrome for all things Google right now as it is WAY faster for Gmail, Calendar, etc.

Haven’t played with it too much but as far as using any of Google’s services (GMail, Reader, etc.) there is a lot more responsiveness and speed.

Hope Google’s Chrome gets a large adoption as other sites could definitely benefit by optimizing themselves for this browser.

Anyone else getting spam from Keyword Spy (KeywordSpy.com)??

In the last week I’ve gotten two lead form fills (I’m assuming their bots confused the form with a blog comment form), a few comments, and lots of spammy emails from throwaway GMail accounts.

I found this great adwords tool KeywordSpy.com for keyword researching & also its affiliate program. It really worked well earning me good profits. They track affiliate keywords on powerful networks like ClickBank, Commission Junction, LinkShare, PayDotCom, ClixGalore, ShareASale, MAXBounty, TradeDoubler, Amazon.
I noticed it when I read many people who use keywordspy are making very good revenue & can see who are the super affiliate, look at the keywords, the ad copies and setup similar campaigns.

In 10 minutes we can have a affiliate campaign setup that is already profitable.
It very useful for tracking what your competitor is doing, tracking all advertisers on Google in over 20 countries.
I could also monitor my competitor’s marking strategies. Therefore KeywordSpy can be used to imporove own PPC campaign by finding better keywords.

We could exchange some more ideas & tools if you have come across.

Wow Jenni, way to name drop all the great affiliate programs this helps you with. I hope they sue you for tarnishing their names by including it in your spam.

So far I’ve seen one other blogger talking about keyword spy’s spamming and I want to see if anyone else is doing this and encourage them to blog about it too.
